Honey and Vitamin C

People can also calm the nagging cough which makes them unable to sleep properly by taking two tablespoons honey and 500 mg vitamin C at least 30 minutes before they go to bed. 

Vitamin C is useful for boosting immune system while honey can be great for relieving nocturnal cough in children and also promoting better sleep.
